If this is the level of judgement that judges are allowed to exercise in courtrooms, then it’s time for the rules to change. Is this the same kind of discretion that allowed a judge to lock up a rape victim because he suspected she might be unwilling to testify against her rapist? Is this the same kind of discretion…

i have to say, i would not be pleased with my lawyer wearing any sort of statement or protest piece into the courtroom. a lawyer is supposed to be representing my interests, and pissing off the judge is not the way to do that
