I couldn’t get past “65% polyester”.

It’s not just about his suffering but to make a statement to others oppressing people exactly the same way that they can get the pants sued off them, successfully, if they don’t straighten up and fly right. No racial profiling. No statements by the freaking Mayor that harm the entire family. Nope, nope, nope. Make a

Fuck that. He was profiled and arrested which not only terrorized him but struck fear in others like him. I hope he gets every dime to punish those fuckers and help others like them learn their lesson. It’s about time we started standing up for people who are wronged like Ahmed was. Good for him. He is brave.

I am loving menapause! I love not having my period. I love not bloating. I love not messing up my sheets or my panties. I have a Japanese friend who tells me that the Japanese don’t even have a word for menapause, that they are largely unaffected by it. She thinks it’s because they eat so much fish. I have also read

You’re going? You’re not really going are you?

Yogi Bhajan survived multiple assassination attempts to bring yoga to the west because he felt it was important for our evolution into peaceful, well-balance beings. I feel like this ridiculous culture war where finger waggers call everything “cultural appropriation” gives in to the hoarders and punishes the sharers.

This is what comes of the culture warriors war on “cultural appropriation”. Self-censorship ending something good for society.

The hat kinda takes away from this gorgeous lady and this gorgeous dress.

These...these...dress/pants/drants things are so ugly.

That Jesse Eisenberg review was one of the worst things I’ve ever read. Of course it was in the New Yorker. They think terrible writing is “intellectual”.

That story is wrong. Dozens of people called. The cops did not ignore it.

That story is not true. We need to retire it!

I love the idea of paying $12-$14 and saying, “Tipping is not required” but still allowing people to tip if they choose to.

The fact that you know the phrase “conscious uncoupling” should tell you something.

From the source article: “Dale Brigham told The Associated Press by email Wednesday that he ultimately backtracked and told students they could take the exam on a later date. His initial email to his Nutritional Science 1034 class urging them to “not give in to bullies” and warning that the test would be administered

Yours is the best comment I have read on this thread.

If your personal legal issues affect the public’s perception of your employers and costs them business, the employer should be able to fire you.

I can’t help but wonder if that statement was in response to the Mass Media assistant professor stifling media and free speech. Seems more appropriate to that conversation. This article isn’t very well written.

That’s what I want to know too. Sounds like the ACLU’s statement is in response to her. I think she did get called out but she should be fired. Also, she is very bad at Mass Communications.

Good for her! I would be furious too. She shouldn’t have to spell out that Martin Luther King should be played by a black actor but the director who cast that white actor should be called out for his whitewashing.
