These...these...dress/pants/drants things are so ugly.
That Jesse Eisenberg review was one of the worst things I’ve ever read. Of course it was in the New Yorker. They think terrible writing is “intellectual”.
“he’s suddenly realized that while he’s always known he was going to die, it only just now dawned on his that he’s actually going to be living a while first. It sounds like a simple truth—possibly almost fundamental—but if you’ve experienced depression you know what a monumental, powerful change this can be.” <—Loved…
That story is wrong. Dozens of people called. The cops did not ignore it.
That story is not true. We need to retire it!
I love the idea of paying $12-$14 and saying, “Tipping is not required” but still allowing people to tip if they choose to.
The fact that you know the phrase “conscious uncoupling” should tell you something.
From the source article: “Dale Brigham told The Associated Press by email Wednesday that he ultimately backtracked and told students they could take the exam on a later date. His initial email to his Nutritional Science 1034 class urging them to “not give in to bullies” and warning that the test would be administered…
Yours is the best comment I have read on this thread.

That’s what I want to know too. Sounds like the ACLU’s statement is in response to her. I think she did get called out but she should be fired. Also, she is very bad at Mass Communications.
Good for her! I would be furious too. She shouldn’t have to spell out that Martin Luther King should be played by a black actor but the director who cast that white actor should be called out for his whitewashing.
My nickname for that old white guy is Streisand Effect because I’m not sure anyone would have even noticed if he hadn’t tried to order her around.
Nope. I love that song. It’s very sweet. It was written by a man for his wife. It reflects someone just trying to talk someone into staying.
Aren’t you supposed to be on the Starbucks Facebook page bitching about cups and the war on Christmas?
Is it just me or does she look like a cross between Arianna Huffington and Paula Dean?
Your comment made me think of something that may or may not appear related but I know quite a few people who start long distance relationships where they write long letters/emails. When they are apart like this, the relationship is great but when they get together, it doesn’t work so well. I think what was happening…
