Good for him not to cave. There’s a reason comedians don’t visit college campuses anymore. No one in this comment has the right to be a judge for comedy. Joke didn’t work, tons of jokes told in clubs across the country every night don’t work. Doesn’t mean the ship gets abandoned and that person should be forever…

Overall, I totally agree with you. However, I do think intent is important - as far as we judge his character. I don’t think he’s racist/anti-Semitic - nor do I think his intent was to take advantage of poor people by making them do something racist for $5.

I am continually disappointed by the amount of people patting you on the back for this comment (or just generally agreeing with you, in other threads). I mean, you never fail to give your thoughtful, but assumptive and self-serving critique; I often look forward to it. It’s depressing to see so many others completely…

I get the “joke”. I get that the backlash to the joke was totally deserved. I just dont get how some people can’t believe that some people might find the joke funny.

I am going to love Nioh, I am really excited about the difference things they did to the DS formula. It’s refreshing for companies to take a chance and it work out. I am with you, this game is going to be amazing and break us in the most delightful ways. 

I’m just glad that someone else stepped in and used the same basic formula, but in my eyes, did it better with greater results. I love all of the Souls games but series fatigue is real. They have done little to push the series forward after the success of Ds1.

Really excited for Nioh. It’s not just another clone of Dark Souls and does its own thing. Was so refreshing to have finally played it a couple weeks ago for the last chance trial. I went back and tried Bloodborne after and it felt so outdated compared to Nioh.

Am I the only one who appreciates that they textured skin indentations where the straps of her swimsuit is? That’s attention to detail.

For me, horror games are like jumping in a pool. When you jump in a pool it always feels unbearably cold but eventually you acclimate and then it feels nice.
