Indianapolis?!

Well deduced. Here, have a candy.

At my PS4 launch a couple in front of me was kissing heavily while waiting in line, I then overheard that they were brother and sister.... My jaw dropped inside my head.

Saaaaaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeees...

and I see you like to be ripped off. you people are the cancer of our beloved gaming industry.

problem is Forza stays a only partially downloaded game, even when installation is finished.

Aww, this article almost made me cry! Damnit Kotaku! I don't come to your site to cry!

The PS4 DOES download the patch, but it does it simultaneously with the install. The X1 downloads the patch and THEN does the install. Also they did an offline (i.e. no patches involved) comparison with the AC4 and the X1 still took eight times longer.

You don't own a PS4, do you?

They're both doing that, but the Xbox is doing it slower.

It's not under 10 minutes for a full install. It's under 10 minutes until the game is "ready to play" at which point it continues installing in the backround. In most cases, parts of the games are locked off until the full install is completed. All this and more can be found in the post above.

would you have preferred the more factual title, "Installing Xbox Ones Games Take Fifteen Fucking Minutes More Than PS4 Games?"

16 minutes IS way too long. And not a valid one to one test? The ps4 is online, it simply doesn't need to do a long update before playing the game. You can't fault the journalists for the acknowledging this, or the PS4 for being faster.

I'm a [broken and waiting for a new one] xbox one owner and even I think you're just being petty about this. This is a pretty valid test. The test is, how long does it take to start playing a game from the second you unwrap that brand new disc and stick it in the console. The fact that the PS4 installs the update in

Test yourself buddy, 'way to long' is a right way of saying when one takes over 10x more to install than the other.

Commenter who prefers Xbox: You suck Kotaku, stop posting biased BS! You're all just Sony fanboys.

The game, I hope you meant "beat the game".

It almost took me longer to install Ryse than it did for me to beat it.
