Osaka was so far and away better today it wasn’t even funny. Her ability to step up and hit great shots serving up 5-4, after Williams stalled for forever complaining to the referees and the crowd showed their ass, was unbelievable.

Serena's coach did admit he was coaching after the match,  now whether Serena saw it or not,  or if it happens all the time and the umpire was being pretty is another matter, but her coach did admit he was coaching Serena from the stands. 

It really felt like Osaka threw the game to Serena right after she was awarded one on penalty. She couldn’t be too blatant because Tennis Rules but it sure seemed that she was trying to even it out after the BS ruling.

Serena is a bad sport. It is what it is. You need to be almost pathologically competitive to succeed at the highest levels of sport, so it’s not that surprising. However,considering her position in her sport (and her age), it might behoove her to act like Federer,not Johnny Mac.
