Abhors authoritarianism? Sure he does, sure he does.

IIRC he said something about re-examining Obergfell, but as noted elsewhere he either doesn't know or care what the president can actually do.
That's nice for middle class white people. It doesn't do much for the rest who are demonstrably harmed by changes in tax policy, defanging Civil Rights legislation, and such not. (Not that the Democrats have put up much of a fight.)
Oh, absolutely. I don't love our Republicans, I just recognize that they are comparatively sane. Pawlenty is a shitty person and was a shitty governor, but I'd take him over a lot of current Republican governors.
Can't really lay that at the feet of Republicans - Ventura ran under the Reform Party and he actually hurt the Democratic candidate more than the Republican candidate.
Despite my hate for reddit, the OK Cupid subreddit was actually super helpful for constructing a good profile. You might try there. You don't even have to comment - they have a bunch of posts in the sidebar.
Every penny I am going to spend on dog groomers is worth it so I will not have to put anything in my dog's butt.
The distaste for Cruz extends well beyond the US: Germans say Backpfeifengesicht, meaning a face in need of a good punch.
Everything I've ever read about Ted Cruz's wife makes me want to mount some kind of rescue mission and get her out of that marriage. That is a deeply unhappy woman.
Ah, the "government works like a magic spell" school of thought. Even though this department is exactly the same, it has a different name! Ergo, fundamentally different!
Right? Rubio's only state win was mine, and I caught myself thinking he can't be that bad is Minnesota Republicans chose him, since (Michelle Bachmann aside) our Republicans are generally pretty sane and moderate.
"Lemon, the purpose of these cuts is to make us more efficient so we make more money. And the people who tell me if l'm making more money are called accountants."
I came across an amazing article positing that a brokered convention might result in Mitt Romney being the nominee, and I realized that this would completely work - I would be so relieved that it wasn't Cruz or Trump that I might forget how much I hate Mitt "Fuck Half the Country Because They're Poor" Romney.
That and he's laying bare how racist and violent a lot of their constituency is, which they prefer to keep swept under the rug.
I genuinely wonder how much damage Trump would do (outside of our reputation as a country). He doesn't seem to be terribly clear on what the president does, so it seems plausible that he'll just be one of those totally ineffectual presidents and the real damage will be done by Congress.
Wait… there's no councilman Les Wynan. *frowns*
I stand corrected.
Apparently no: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
That is a really fantastic short explanation of a preliminary injunction.
Right, that's kind of what I'm asking. I suspect the court does not evaluate a career in terms of personal satisfaction or being famous or whatever other non-monetary benefits it might provide. A career is a means to make money, ergo Kesha can be made whole with money, ergo there's no irreparable harm.
