Maybe this is my problem - wrong size microplane. I've tried using it on garlic a few times and I always have to throw 1/3-1/2 of the clove away lest I grate my fingers.

If I ever achieve my dream of having cherry trees, I am damn sure buying a cherry pitter. That is a pain in the ass.
Grrr, stupid Strunk & White.
I personally wouldn't call them monsters, but apparently they do pay a lot of their employees less than minimum wage through an exemption for disabled workers in the FLSA, and have lobbied heavily to keep that exemption. Fairly scummy, IMO.
Did I miss a big thread of people talking them up here? It's mostly Kanye jokes and discussions about cheap clothes.
A lot of their stores pay less than minimum wage (legally, through a loophole for disabled workers), so this is a lot truer than you might have thought. :(
For a second I thought you two were one person talking to yourself.
God, I hope he gets replaced by someone who can tolerate spice levels higher than ketchup.
I was thinking 3 rather than 50, but do what makes you happy I guess.
You are allowed to subscribe to more than one service, you know.
Empathy isn't something people are worthy or unworthy of - it's simply you being able to metaphorically put yourself in someone's position. It's a universal human trait (except for psychopaths).
My fiance is liberal but hasn't really spent any time thinking or talking about it, so he says ignorant shit a lot. He's particularly uneducated on gender identity, so we've had a lot of Trans 101 conversations. He's mostly open to discussing these things, which is why it's not a dealbreaker, but I can tell sometimes…
Does it have a "no vaguebooking" setting?
I may be pointlessly nostalgic, but the previous years' entries are longer and funnier. This is very… phoned in, I guess. Disappointing.
Thanks. :)
Just put the kid in the washing machine. It's not working, so it won't hurt them.
Isn't there always one inexplicably popular cinnamon liquor at all times? When I was a youth it was Hot 100, which I threw up back into the bottle. (My opinion of this story has changed from embarrassed to proud the farther away from 15 I get.)
Pretty okay I guess. Future Mr Suggins was on call Friday and couldn't drink, so I stayed up after he went to bed drinking wine and doing nothing much but having a pretty good time. It was a nice change from the rest of the Friday which was very much depressive mode. My job is destroying me and I'm probably not…
This is both my default and my fiance's default, which is not great since neither of us is great shakes at meal planning. We are probably going to die of a protein deficiency.
