Weird, it's almost as though living in occupied territory and constantly suffering retaliatory overreaction strikes from your wealthy heavily militarized neighbor in reaction to a few assholes in your government shooting glorified fireworks at them will breed resentment somehow.

"As a Jew, and as someone who has been raised to always support Israel (which, according to my parents, is my spiritual home, although I have never been)"

No wonder most Americans automatically side with Israel, we're both wealthy nations filled with shamelessly self-absorbed assholes so far removed from any conflict we enter that it's incredibly easy to cheerlead for atrocities. I wish I could even be surprised that Violent Nationalism Selfies are a thing, but I can't.

More accurately, it's basically a jack stand used for hangar maintenance on the nose gear. They get placed under the aircraft, then raised on hydraulic stands to take the load off of the gear to allow retracting of the gear or replacement. Not strictly designed for this purpose, but it's hardly a stretch to use one

I'm a complete cynic but I really believe that if the company was doing ok financially, he'd still be employed. He has been a pervy ass from the beginning. I'm not complaining that he's been fired, I just am doubtful that it wasn't primarily financially motivated.

My fave is the pre meeting to discuss the meeting with a group that must know what will be said at the actual meeting before anyone. then the other group figures that out and now you have to have a pre-pre-meeting. oh, don't forget the internal meeting before to discuss what is going to be said/made up for the other

Today, I attended a meeting with two purposes:

This article should be on every news site, discussed on every TV channel, and shared by everyone on Facebook on a semi-monthly basis from now until the world ends.

Poor kid is so terrified he's been reduced to sitting on his own stool.

You really gave 110% with this comment...

What I have learned from years of watching Maury Povich episodes is that when someone says they are more than 100% sure of something, the chances that it is a lie increase as the percentage increases. Those who are really telling the truth will say they are "100% sure." The liars say things like "A million percent

Why is he a dick. He has a point. He was talking about her not having a drivers license anymore. He's also right in more ways than I think he realizes, and not just about the driving either.

How many lives were saved by this?
I am not joking, last year we had an old lady make a kid an orphan when she drove into a restaurant and killed his parents and a waitress. She was never charged with any crime. She only lost her license.

Or "rape culture".

Agreed. I immediately thought, "Jez is filing lawsuits on behalf of college students?!"

I wish you would put notes at the top of these articles instead of at the bottom. I got deep into this before I saw the author use the pronoun "we" to describe an action on campus, and suddenly I realized that this was an advocacy piece written by a participant, and not a journalistic piece per se (to the extent that

Ah, but the GOP makes it so damn easy these days, don't they? When quotations from Eisenhower or even Barry Goldwater sound positively hippy love child in comparison, you know something is wrong somewhere.

Don't worry. We'll be making fun of the Democrats too. This just happened to be all GOP representatives.

Come on now...they should know better and check their facts:
