8 years? GM’s bloat had been going on a lot more than eight years.

His money? HIS money? He’s collected five billion dollars of taxpayer money so far! That’s most definitely not “his money” he’s throwing around.
Let’s be honest. The plan is to do whatever it takes to get more government money thrown his way, because that’s the only reason Tesla exists in the first place. Five billion dollars of taxpayer money and counting.
It’ll be fine.
35,000 people die in motor vehicle related accidents every year. One autonomous car crashing and killing somebody isn’t even a blip on the radar, that’s why they don’t give a damn. People are going to die in autonomous cars. Way, way more people are going to die in cars driven by human beings.
You can’t call it the Kaiser because that’s offensive to Germans, you can’t call it the Grand Wagoneer because that’s offensive to the Donner party, and you can’t call it the Cherokee because that’s offensive to Native Americans.
Plus another 122 sold in Canadia in 2015, and they’ve sold 346 so far this year. It doesn’t exactly have Toyota Camry sales figures but they’re moving them.
Never thought I’d say this, but I prefer the one with the Celica engine.
Yeah, this is getting absurd. Watching James May tinker with shit in his garage is not entertaining. Top Gear was entertaining.
If the manufacturers want to contend that you can’t work on a vehicle, any vehicle because they own the code, then that’s fine. But if I can’t work on my own vehicle, you have to warranty it indefinitely. Fair? I mean, it’s their freaking code, right? They should have to fix it.
2x4, long bed, no AC in a black truck are all points against but even if it just had air conditioning I’d say NP all day long. As it sits however, no.
Now automated cars I get, especially with ride sharing because you could reduce the amount of parking spaces needed drastically... but a BUS? The cost and liability makes it seem like having a human in charge of that vehicle is a pretty rational course of action.
1:49 best ass shot of diver.
You’re welcome.
Was the low down power ever a selling point for a small six cylinder engine, naturally aspirated or not, in the first place? If you want to step on the throttle at 1,900 rpm and whoosh off, you buy a Corvette, not a 911.
Things like this were common practice for a very long time. Amazing how our society didn’t die out completely without all these nannying laws to keep us safe.
The funny thing about the PT Cruiser is that in a modern world of compact crossovers, it doesn’t even look out of place. It’s a car that people hate because other people hate it.
Woops, you all realize that Michelle Obama plagiarized that speech herself, right? And that that’s probably the bait you’re all chomping on, pointing out the double standard of how left leaning people are fine with left leaning politicians doing something, but when a right leaning one, or his wife, does the same…
Give that 40% of immigrants to the UK go on welfare within a year of getting there, no, it won’t solve the problem of people wanting to immigrate there because a lot of them aren’t looking for jobs in the first place.
I never understood the anti Trump rhetoric. “Hey, let’s keep criminals and terrorists out of the country, and keep jobs in!” Uhhh.... boo? What exactly is the matter with that?
Whacking off or not, that was a huge friggin pet peeve of mine in college and still is today. You don’t knock on a goddamn door and then open it. Knocking on a door is asking for permission to open it, and you wait until the person who closed said door gives the all clear.
