Old people that CAN’T drive, sure, but the most technologically adverse demographic doesn’t seem real likely to jump on this technology otherwise.

They outsell their competitors when you don’t take into account that their competitors sell a multitude of vehicles and it’s easy to pick ONE of them to compare to the entire Tesla lineup.

People want cars that look like the cars they’re already familiar with. The reason Tesla has the success it does is because their cars just look like normal cars.

How many women were actually buying cars at the TIME this advertisement was in Playboy? Only a third of women even had JOBS in 1973. The ad is telling guys to buy the car for their wives because most women got cars because their husbands bought them in 1973.
