Now, yes, these cars did have fairly lackluster performance from the factory. But there’s two things that need to be taken into consideration.

As somebody who does janitorial work part time in the evenings, I endorse this technology. Goddamn kids leaving their goddamn chairs out everywhere.

Finding one of these that has A) working power windows or B) wind up windows is nigh impossible. Since it was a near luxury car in its day everyone went for the power windows, the glass was huge and wore out the regulators.

It’s not a convertible, it’s the super rare carriage top trim.

Brilliant engineers with elegant solutions to come up with cars that passed basic safety legislation? A bunch of good old boys in Kentucky had no problems building Corvettes with drop tops. How hard could it have been?

European may have recovered? That’s tremendous, typo aside. It’s difficult to see why so many people over there buy used cars in the first place, given the massive taxes put on them and the dirt cheap second hand market. A Focus comparable to the base model here in the US over in the UK costs over $30,000.

Tell you what. I’ll drive around with a GPS on my car the police can monitor if the police all drive around with GPS on THEIR cars that I can monitor. Deal, piggies? No? Didn’t think so.

US carmakers didn’t have designs that looked like they bolted some big hunks of plastic to them at the last moment, though. Kind of hard to blame the rules when others got along fine.

Wow, I hope to hell there’s some European spec bumpers or something available, that car looks ridiculous.

I like how we stuff cars with electronic gadgets to distract people, create cars with tiny windows and huge high belt lines, and the conclusion is... we need more safety features!

No, just build cars people can drive without having five screens in their face and actually see out of.

You’re both from Ebersberg.

Because a lot of white people are tired of the double standard. The Oscars get boycotted for being too white, but the super bowl half time show is turned into a freaking black panthers rally and that’s supposed to be fine?

That’s the finish chipped off.

Center console controls look like they were ripped from an early 80s Chevy.

Except the LS engine will always actually make a sound because it will always run. It’s not “redneck/hillbilly” to yank an unreliable mill out of something and put in an engine that’s just going to work.

They’d never send one to a lot like this, but if you order a Ram pickup, you can get a V8 with a 3.92 posi rear for $26,000. The cheapest muscle car on the market... is a pickup.

When you learned to drive in the early 70s those $100 cars could be repaired with a socket set and a user’s manual. Not so the case here, and that’s the point.

Mini vans are losing ground to crossovers.. isn’t a mini van a crossover to begin with? A vehicle that drives like a car built on a car chassis that’s bigger to hold passengers and cargo. Isn’t that what a crossover is?

590 lb ft at 1,500 rpm in an all wheel drive car. The drivetrain of this thing has to be one hell of an engineering accomplishment.

Congratulations Kia, in 2016 you’ve managed to create the 2003 Pontiac Vibe.
