They haven’t renamed it yet. The council president has said it will not be brought up for a vote because of the outcry in Cleveland over it. As of right now, the proposal is tabled indefinitely.
They already have a stretch of road named Don King Way. The legislation pending is to move that designation to the portion of Cedar Avenue where he stomped a man to death.
