In all fairness, that Apple option is really twelve months. Although I do remember when updates were more frequent. I think they've changed their course from "mean" to "cunningly evil."

I like Giz a lot. I thought that there was nothing wrong with how they handled the iPhone leak, I thought that it was perfectly reasonable to ask Apple to acknowledge that the phone was theirs (if you found a wallet, placed an ad in the paper, and someone asked for it, but wouldn't agree to tell you that they owned…

@jssparky911: Does it really matter that much? Knowing how anal Apple can be, chances are the black and white cases exactly match the black and white phones. If anything, a clear case would probably stand out more than a case that was the exact same color. At any rate, a thick clear strip of rubber up the side…

I'm so glad to see the Touch getting some of the respect it deserves. I had decided against the iPhone when it originally came out because I was disappointed with the storage space. I bought the 16GB Touch as soon as Best Buy started breaking street date. It is by far my most used gadget.

But Apple has very special accounting practices that won't allow them to make any upgrade to the Touch. I imagine that these are the industry standard.
