I did one of those “3 laps around an autocross course in a Lamborghini” for a couple hundred bucks. It was a V-10 Gallardo Spyder.

I agree. I don’t understand why they can’t have new race combos every week. Make up weird shit. The WWII Willy’s Jeep at Fuji for 5 laps. Whatever. Just come up with some randomizer and create new challenges.
My biggest complaint about the game is the lack of new race series. I’ve gotten gold at nearly every race at this point and it feels boring repeating races.
I think I’ve won exactly one car on the roulette spins. 99% of the time I get the lowest value item on the spin. I used to get irritated when I would win $10,000. Lately I’ve been winning tuning parts for cars I don’t own (and those are usually valued at under $10,000.)
Not sure if this is a local thing or not, but seeing a lot more full size, two door, short bed trucks, lowered with large rims. I find it interesting because that combo is difficult to find now that full size trucks double as family sedans now.
There’s a used 2020 Veloster N for sale locally with 26,000 miles. It is listed as $500 over MSRP when it was new. It’s the same one I almost bought in 2020 (I checked the CarFax on it.) If only I had known I could get paid $500 to enjoy it for 26,000 miles.
I don’t know, man. I was driving around yesterday bewildered by how much traffic there was in the middle of the day everywhere. We keep getting told by out-of-state politicians that people are fleeing the state in droves because of the liberal hellscape that California has become, but I don’t see it. There’s no…
Holy shit, this might be the best comment I’ve ever read on any message board.
They can thank Grosjean for bringing me over.
I work in an industry with essentially bottomless overtime. We have a lot of 20-somethings making six figures for the first time in their life. Our parking lot is full of Raptors and F-250 King Ranches all with huge wheels/tires/lift kits. Even knowing what they’re making, I still ask how they afford that. Most of…
How long can the manufacturers continue to blame “supply chain issues” and not also consider that maybe the car buying public doesn’t like getting extorted for $15,000 over MSRP and are willing to wait?
Everybody has driven the GT90 in Need for Speed, so we forgot they never actually built it.
Future dealership experiences are just going to be these guys saying, “How much you got?”
I think Scott Petersen was charged with two counts of murder for killing his pregnant wife. And that was in California.
Obviously nothing that would satisfy you, Chris.
Most Indy Car drivers aren’t good enough to make it to F1 and they have a huge chip on their shoulders about it. They don’t mind if they come in and just putt around in the back for a while (Max Chilton, Marcus Ericsson, etc.) But come in and make a name for yourself right out of the box with a third tier team? Then…
I bought a 2012 with the manual transmission. While not fast, it was fun enough. I took it in for service once and they gave me a loaner Focus with that terrible dual clutch auto. I could not believe they were essentially the same car. And it’s not like I’m comparing the platinum trim against bargain basement rental…
How long before we get op-ed articles written by team owners about how “nobody wants to work anymore”
Are Corollas really being stolen or are the numbers skewed because of all the “stolen” car reports Hertz files on their customers?
