It was a 2012 Focus Hatchback with a manual. It was four years old with approximately 30,000 miles on it. It was serviced religiously and needed nothing other than a recall fixed (free from Ford) that hadn’t been completed yet because they had been telling me for a year they didn’t have the parts for it which was a

It was the 2.5l 4 cylinder hybrid 2008. I know it’s no race car, but 105 seemed pretty pathetic.

My supervisor and I had to go to a conference a few months ago and our work has a motor pool of cars to use. Because it was just two of us, we were reserved a sedan, which is fine with me. As I’m at the fleet counter waiting, I see a row of brand new Fusion Hybrids and I’m really hoping we get one. “Your car is in

I “upgraded” to an H3 one time in Seattle.  What a piece of crap.  That 5 cylinder was so gutless in that brick and constantly had to keep downshifting into passing gear to maintain freeway speeds.  You could almost watch the fuel gauge needle move as the tank drained.

I love, love, love Nissan’s zero gravity seats.  I experienced them in an Altima at a demonstration one time and have been singing their praises ever since.

In 23 years the only ticket I’ve gotten is for an illegal left turn (I was totally guilty and knew it was illegal.) I am usually observant and on the look out for patrol cars when I drive. My speeding allowance is usually 5 to 10 mph over in town and 10 to 15 mph over on the freeway. You’re usually good if you stay

I remember the first time I wanted to see the top speed of my Altima.  Full throttle down a long hill.  I was so disappointed when it petered out at about 105 mph.

I think the reason people believe there are thousands of dollars in wiggle room on a used car is because, like in my situation, they gave me $6,000 trade-in, vacuumed it, washed it, and sold it two weeks later for $11,000. It needed no reconditioning other than mentioned above and it had a new set of tires I put on

This is immediately what I thought of too.  Good work.

How is the turbo lag and torque steer?  How long are the throws on the shifter?  Do the rear seats fold down flat for more cargo room?

I think the baby blue and orange/red trim looks like the Gulf livery.

The really tall yellow one definitely is.  I’ve seen that exact photo in multiple colors.

But then race cars made black wheels cool.  If black, steel Bassett wheels are good enough for Dale, they’re good enough for me!

There’s about four people on here that are feeling very attacked because they bought luxo-trucks and feel like they need to defend the very existence of said trucks. The same four people have been jumping on every thread in these comments with the same arguments.

What’s funny about your example is that I actually roll my eyes at the GT3 guy with the firesuit and carbon fiber helmet. It’s like, “Look out, here comes Fernando Alonso in cosplay.”

Absolutely. I get angry at people that buy ultra high end super cars as investments. These cars are pushing the limits of physics. They should be driven, on a race track if possible, like they were designed to. Tucking it away in a plastic bubble just so you can sell it at Pebble Beach in 20 years is dumb. Invest in

You were doing well until this post.  Now I’m going to stop reading anything else you write.

How will I know if that white plume billowing behind is coming from the driver or from the exhaust because of the leaking head gasket?

Just like his own administration admitted to doing.  When you act like a cranky toddler ALL the time, people stop listening to you.
