I’m the same way, I’m not brand loyal.  I choose the best option (that I can afford) in whatever category I shopping for at the time.  If Ford doesn’t offer what I want, I will gladly pass them by and go to who does offer it.  I’m not “settling” for an Escape because Ford won’t build a Focus ST anymore.

Apparently the guy asking for car suggestions wants a manual.

Robby Gordon was there with his Stadium Super Truck series.  Too bad they didn’t let him relive his youth in that car.

This is the correct answer.

My dog sees red when she doesn’t get my leftovers that she feels she’s entitled to.

I generally agree that metallic black looks better than just regular black, but I always felt Cadillac went overboard with their metallic black on the CTS-V Coupe. Made it look dusty all the time (which is saying something when talking about black cars.)

Mercedes had a green CLA at my local dealership that they couldn’t give away. It was there well over a year. Shame because it stood out like a beacon among the sea of white, black and silver surrounding it.

I’ve read that dogs see color, but not as vividly. More of a pastel palette.

Toyota isn’t getting enough credit for not only bringing back teal, but also bringing back two-tone.

Hyundai is looking to expand their N lineup to several vehicles. You may be onto something.

Seriously, think about it. They had to specially make a one-off funhouse mirror version of a rear door with accompanying tiny window. Why go to the trouble? Why not just make it a coupe? How much did that cost to design and make? My mind is swirling with questions.

When I played Gangnum Style in my Ford, the display would show Korean symbols in the description.  My Toyota just shows Wingdings.  Apparently the Japanese don’t recognize Korean as a valid language and the Americans do.

When I raced at my local short track, the unwritten rule seemed to be the more expensive the class, the worse they drove. I raced in the Bomber class (cheapest/entry level.) They always scheduled our race last to keep the audience there to the end because it was the most popular class. Every week we would sit staged on

I used to race at a local 1/4 mile short track in the late 90’s/early 00’s. In a tight pack it wasn’t always easy to guess who the flag man was pointing at. A rolled up black flag pointed at you was a warning, you didn’t have to exit the track. So if you were against the wall as you passed under the flag stand, he

I made the same minimum wage in 1996.  Worked at a local used car lot washing cars and the only time I got a (begrudging) raise is when the minimum wage went up.  When I finally got my first “real” job, I went from like $7.00/hr to $19/hr.  I about fell over when I saw my first paycheck.

$8,000! So, totaled?

Well put.  I’m 6’2” and far from being “in shape,” but I can get in and out of a car a few times a day.

I want to see NASCAR adopt this wheel designs and see how fast pit crews really are during pit stops.
