I like your take. It’s pretty on point for how it is. Another issue the genre has, is that the technological future that was once depicted, is much more possible given todays technology than it was before. At what point (aside from robotic limbs) is it just a prediction of what’s to come? It’s storytelling capability

Another good example of “this ain’t it Chief”

Factory fender flares/widebody. The WRX S209 is a rare breed these days.

Peak unoriginality on this site. People are even stealing jokes from Regular Car Reviews unironically.

I agree. They don’t even get their stereotypes even close to reality anymore. And now WRX’s aren’t cool? When they tick almost every box for an enthusiast car? The comment is downright offensive, what else are we supposed to do that wont make every person on the road hate us, or call us rice.

I’m not sure where you’re at, but I only see jar heads (of any ethnicity) and specifically black people driving Chargers and Challengers. Your stereotype is very dated.

The G80 BMW M3 gets a bad rap do to it’s poor photo taking angles. Starting at 70K, you have plenty of money after to change up the looks. You really can’t beat it.

I’s say an Impreza Hatch. BUT an older model Forester or Impreza Wagon would be perfect for a college kid. Bluetooth can be added to any car if you’re determined enough and have YouTube.

EVs are too expensive. Until they drop to around 20k on the used market and still have reliable batteries, it’s gas only for me. Plug-in hybrids are no-go as well. I rent an apartment and have nowhere to charge an EV or PHEV for that matter. I’d lose a lot of range just going to and from the closest charger.

I blame how the multiplayer has changed. I remember a time when I was grouped with random people, be them better or worse than me in skill, for many matches at the time, and the gameplay being much better. They switched to what I used to call “Halo-style” lobbies where they find new players and matches, and the game

As an Eastern NC native, I second this. Leave your suffering to me and me alone during my weekend vacation. You’ll hate it, I swear. It’s the worst.

Ah, I’ve looked into now. It’s a Truck/SUV Engine. That’s actually more disappointing to me somehow.

A silver Supra parks near, if not next to my WRX everyday in the parking deck. After seeing it so much, I’ve found myself really liking it. It’s an incredibly nice car. I wish I could get one.

I hate that Dodge and Jeep share half their platforms with models in Europe. If Dodge’s new I6 becomes it’s halo engine, what kind of car would it go in? A Giulia based car? Something cool hopefully. I don’t the people will want an I6 Challenger. The slant 6 was reliable, but it was a dog.

Disney+ ??? I never expected it to be there. It’s certainly not appropriate for all audiences, but things are pretty different there. I watch my anime on unofficial websites, so I’m pretty caught up. It was awesome seeing all the Spy Family fan-art of Yor Forger on japanese twitter pages.

I don’t think I saw Summertime Rendering up here. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be one of the best this season. There are a LOT of well made animes this quarter, but most aren’t worth being invested in.

I’m gonna guess he forgot to check his camera settings while he was shooting. I’ve done that where my camera got switched off of auto and all my photos had this awful color temperature, do to the exposures and color correction fighting each other.

I miss the bench seats and glass hatches on SUVs from the 90s

This is why I’m paranoid about leaving my car in gear whenever I shut off the car. One day I wont pay attention, and BOOM my cars at the bottom of a river in Latvia.

I agree with something for once. I’m Average American sized, and certain cars just feel small to me. Just how it is. Subaru did this with the WRX, and keeps their platforms around for a very long time. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to upgrade. You’d think bringing it to their shared platform, the car would have
