I hope I’m alive to see day where it’s commonplace to drive an EV swapped “classic” car. I’d love to see old cars with power limited electric engines that somehow mimic the original torque curves of yore.

I think they should have used a different motor. Boxer engines just aren’t where it’s at. I’m waiting for GR Yaris swaps. They’re available as crate motors from Toyota. Surely that would be an OEM reliable swap that’s not an LS or a 2JZ.

Hopefully this compels bulb manufacturers to design bulbs to do this stuff, and not the automakers. Imagine standardized bulbs, with headlight housings built around this standard. Crazy right? This generation of Expedition seems like it would be a good buy. It looks really good. They’ve simplified their designs, and benefitted from it.
