@undefined: @ibrown: I think I ran across one of your other posts, and it seems like [www.mailbeans.com] would work. Though I don't know about mobile syncing. honestly, that's a tough one. maybe you should think about combining your accounts or developing some forwarding scheme.

replying to myself: google voice does this.

Not sure if anyone would know how to answer this, but lets say I really wanted the number XXX-244-9676 for when I get the google invite and didn't care about the area code. Is there any service out there that can search for available numbers? Tried reverse phone look-up on about 10 area codes and found they were taken

@Kevin Purdy: You know, I had to do this again today since I finally installed windows 7 RC, and I always forget that unless you re-do your grub (if you're dual booting), it will continue to cycle the install over and over. I am sure most people know this, but I seem to get caught everytime, but fortunately now I have

@Tegan: So I just signed up for a number with K7, and actually went looking for fax newsletters to sign up for. Found one in Connecticut, but am not sure if it will actually fax me every week. If you find one, this would be the easiest way to keep it alive since strangely, people still do fax newsletters.

Not to change the subject, but I thought this problem could be solved simple with URL shortners? Obviously your email address still won't be displayed, but having the shortened url for 'mailto:whoever@there.com' should work to mask the adderss until the bots start unshortening. I know it definitely works the mailto

I would vote for a hybrid of using voicemail such that I don't get transcribed messages, but I do get emails with mp3 files of the message , i.e. youmail or the likes. I still don't have a swanky smart phone, but youmail is great for me since my phone doesn't get reception where I work, but I am constantly available

I ended up using this guide which helped out since in the comments a lot of strange issues are addressed and solved

what about just using a linked in page as your front? i guess you run the risk of it going out of business. after reading this i actually went around and checked on myself.

Did someone already request this for windows/linux? I second the above comment that I might be able to finish my dissertation too.

Wow, my favorites aren't even on the list. Personally, I can't live without Gmarks. Its basically like having the google toolbar but not, very lightweight and the best part is that its on every computer I ever use while everything is stored on Google (including web history which can be handy if I was looking at

@diamonddnice: I guess I don't get notified when there are replies, but I agree that you should not take this so seriously. It just cracks me up with all the moleskin posts and I couldn't resist saying something. Also, I am not insinuating anything about the author's ethnicity, it just makes me laugh. And yes, it

two images of before and after, but i used these fonts (in order from top to bottom).

maybe a screen shot or two demonstrating the difference between websites?

everytime these moleskin post come up, i keep thinking about this post

That tutorial looks great for a noob, but some of the links for the example files aren't working. Thanks though.

my vote is on april fools, but it is my favorite day on the net for sure (and my co-workers most hated day because of incessant laughter). remember the short-arm QUILTER last year:
