I thought the original island had no plumbing and not enough space to host all those people or a place to land all those planes. They would have had to build those luxury camping villas they promised anyways. From the beginning it was a disaster.

Totally, i’ve heard people use it as an insult and i’ve heard people use it as a compliment. People in the DR used to call me prieta when i was younger and a bit darker, people would also still call someone who looks like Lupita, morena, to some it’s interchangeable.
