I like it. Particularly the boomerang rear pillar/fender treatment. Not a fan of the separate headlamp and grill. I think those would work better with the overall design if they were more integrated.
An old roommate owned a 1966 Cadillac hearse. Seven of us did a road trip from Detroit to Chicago in it. It was beautiful.
Watch the movie “Harld and Maude” and you will understand.
That would make more sense than what they actually built it on. On the other hand, not as funny...
My daughters and I were discussing what they should do with my body when I die at their maternal grandmother’s funeral recently. We agreed something like this would be way better than a fancy car ride and taking up space in the earth:
Unpopular opinion: I never really cared for the Testarossa. Would much rather have a BB512 Boxer.
Is there a Ford under there? 🤔
This. It’s not unattractive, it just doesn’t get me very excited.
There was a guy that ran one of these in the 90's at Waterford Hills near Detroit. He had an 80's FWD car and then this generation with AWD. The later car was a Cossie but the earlier one was a turbo as well. Both were super quick, always mixing it up with the big bore GT1 cars.
I just want the turbofans. Perhaps I could ask Tucci Hot Rods to make me some?
I want some turbofans for my next car.
Volkswagon Beetle: “Hold my sauerkraut”
Good riddance. 👋🏼
I’ve read it’s more like 65lbs. I’ll be pulling significant weight out of the car so even if I did an LS I would still expect to be well below stock weight. Hoping for somewhere around 2500-2600lbs.
I don’t make bad recommendations. My friends make bad choices...
Not a huge deal. Good chance I will use a stand alone ECU for the engine - the dash can be replaced with something compatible with the ECU. AC will be gone no matter what drivetrain I decide to use. Power steering I haven’t researched. Likewise brakes, ABS, HVAC etc. I’m sure someone has figured out how to deal with…
I’m ready for my flying car now...
