Speaking of bottom brackets... (Technically the frame around it)

I was riding with a group one day a few years ago. We stopped for a short break. I got back on the bike and started pedaling when all of a sudden the shifting on the front sprocket got all weird. I looked things over quickly but didn’t notice anything

I see the word “sport” in the trim level.  That implies that it is.  Are you telling me that an Si or CTR are not performance cars because they are based on a Civic?

Fuck sunroofs on performance cars.  More weight and complexity plus another point of failure I don’t want.

It’s likely a thing called proliferation. Somebody about 25 years ago decided that having too many variations to build in the plant was bad. More variations = more opportunities to screw up quality or get a customer’s order wrong. It may not seem obvious from our vantage point as consumers but there is likely a reason

Tell me about the thing.  And the stuff.  Those are mainly what I want to know about.

The rest of the car is fine but I can’t unsee that stupid grill/forehead...  I would get the car in black to hide it.

Whoever did the CAD renders forgot to scale down the texture paint texture.

That’s.... awful!!  A great example of why you don’t graft a bunch of disparate design elements onto one car.

“Neanderthal forehead”  That’s the expression I was searching for.  Honda is doing that look on all their sedans and it’s horrific...

Funny. The only thing killing it for me is the ugly upper front grill area.

Designers mostly hate it.  Talk to the marketing peeps.

Definitely better looking than the last one with the exception of the upper grill area. Honda has been pursuing this ugly pronounced forehead shape in that area on all it’s cars and it’s awful looking. Please stop, Honda....

An Evora isn’t exactly light by Lotus standards, either...

“Is the 2,932 lbs for the fully loaded first edition? Or the base Emira?”

A beautiful car but I really wish it was more Lotus-like in the weight and simplicity department. 2500 lbs would be much more acceptable . Less features and lower price... say $65K? and I would put it at the top of my fun car list.

Somewhat.  I drove a 2019 Si Sedan late last year when I was looking for a new car.  No local dealers had a new Si but I thought I would drive a used one to see what it was like.  It was more raw and rowdy than the Hyundai Veloster R-Spec I had been driving. That was a pleasant surprise.  I’ll be curious to see if

I was going to say - “What did you expect? It’s a Renault.”

Same thing...

I was going to comment that there should be a Darwin’s law that says if you escape something you should rightfully have died from, due to your own negligence, you will be arrested and immediately put to death. You were meant to die and you escaped - No more escapes.

Not quite a joke. :-/

Was that deliberate or the end result of some monumental fuckup off screen?

“We”?

In the footage I watched they suggested he switch tires and he said “no!”
