It may have been longer ago than I like to admit, but believe it or not, I was once a 17 year old girl.

I’m willing to let F1 claim to be the pinnacle of motorsport, but to me, Indycar will always be the most challenging due to its track variety. No, they don’t win on technology, or engineering. But for me, I like seeing drivers trying to master the skill of winning on very different track types, for better or worse.
Dude.... I would *love* this. It’d actually be a challenge for graphic designers. They have to come up with something eye-catching & appealing, yet stil have to fit it on the car & incorporate all the sponsorship logos in the right way & size.
The retro liveries were fun, especially the "Pink Pig".
I was about to say something to the effect of it being a cold day in Hades when any of the German manufacturers completely ditched white or gray/silver, especially Mercedes.
Yes, because there's so many articles on women in racing on here. Why, there's next to nothing anymore that focuses only on cars or male drivers.....
And of course, bad internet PR never caused a problem for people.
Funny thing... A lot of people don’t find that funny.
I bet you think every waiter or waitress you’ve ever interacted with has been genuinely happy to see you, too.
You do use the internet, right???
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Exhibit A in our author's argument.....
Mostly I agree, except I keep remembering a story from some years ago.... Guy was a big tifosi & Schumacher fan, & had a large prancing horse tattoo on his upper arm. He was lucky enough to run into Schumi, who gave the requested autograph right below the tattoo.
Obviously you’ve never actually talked with a German driver.
Fair enough. And I think part of the fuss is that it was so clearly & blatantly done. Usually when something like this happens, the intent behind it is a bit more nebulous... (Did rider #1 ride that close to try to wreck rider #2, or was it just close, hard racing?)
Part of the issue is that this is bikes, not cars. Like it or not, motorcycle racing has a higher fatality rate than auto racing just due the the lack of protection from the vehicle.
They take it so seriously that I believe the green flag is waved by none other than Sir Stirling Moss... And the commentary? Courtesy of the one & only Murray Walker.
Except they’re not coming back. They’re still making the cars in China, but selling them in other countries, not the US.
Halo would not have helped-the roll hoop is one of strongest, most reinforced parts of the car. If it broke (which it clearly did), Halo wouldn't have done anything.
It also resembles Dario Franchitti's career-ending wreck.
