Obviously a good many parents are not explaining to their sons about consent like if the woman is asleep, passed out, or otherwise incapacitated that it’s not okay to violate them. I like the relationship with Debbie who is challenging Holen’s notions about himself and women. She’s presenting new ideas and exposing him to different aspects of American culture. I doubt he would have seen Dog Day Afternoon if not for her. I also like how she encourages sexual experimentation.

I just binged it and was surprised how good it is. It doesn’t take itself seriously, is funny as hell, lots of lovely parodies, and the characters are all interesting. If you’ve got the time, go for it.

how about instead of expelling, figure out a way to make this a learning moment? Work with the tribe to see what they think is the best way to handle this situation? Expelling will just keep them mired in ignorance and poverty which will just fuel the bigotry.
