Its not at all image based. It is making a 3d reconstruction of your face with 30,000 IR dots being projected on you.

At this point, with all the sheer dumbfuckery that people put on the internet, I am fueled entirely by schadenfreude and caffeine.

Except EA is known for buying up good developers, poisoning them, then shutting them down. DreamWorks Interactive, Pandemic, Westwood, Just to name a few. And Now Visceral. There are more than that on their list of hits. Just wait, after that bullshit with ME: Andromeda (Which EA caused btw) that branch of Bioware got

Not only that but Tycho usually plays the cynic. True a lot of their comics have been misses for me because they didn’t pertain to anything I was into. But if it’s to a game I actually play or a show I actually watch they usually make me laugh. That said your comment hit the mark, well done +1

rriigght because the blog post would get featured here. That’s the thing with people like you who make arguments like this. Y’all aren’t genuinely concerned with all that you’re just trying to distract because you know there is no argument against their actual point so you try to find something else to attack.

“Look

I come here every week literally just to see what stupid shit people like you have to say about Penny-Arcade; I read all these comics when they’re actually posted...this is just a bonus with which to end my week.

It’s been a very long time since Penny Arcade attempted to be funny in every strip. I hardly see this scathing criticism as being out of place for the comic. In fact it’s the first one that has resonated with me in some time.

And what’s wrong with that? Fuck EA. They don’t deserve a joke to call them out on their bullshit

Those pieces of crap ruined and killed Command and Conquer. They ruin and kill many things. You are right, they are nigh inescapable.

Except they’re not wrong

It’s not just about the Star Wars game. It’s EA in general. They’re bad for the industry. They take good developing studios, poison them, then shut them down. And the cycle continues. What do you not understand about that?

“That Penny Arcade comic sure is something, huh? Thanks for using the dynamic, limitless canvass of comics to directly inform us that you are upset about a Star Wars game.”

Sometimes it really isn’t a good idea to rush a comment so that you can be first to moan about the PA strip. Especially when that strip is an angry rant about the cancellation of a Star Wars game. There’s virtually no wrong way, in the whole world, to be wrong about that.

I see nothing wrong with the strip because I 100% agree with it. That Amy Hennig Star Wars game Visceral was working on was the thing I was looking forward to the most from EA.

This is just you deliberately missing the point so that you can keep complaining about PA. Knock it off. Most weeks, it’s perfectly fine to whine about the strip. Very occasionally they forgo a usual strip to speak to their very large audience about something they care about (usually still game-related, so you can

Use of the dynamic, limitless canvas of more or less any artistic medium is not, thankfully, limited to, “Things a specific group of people enjoy/find funny/worthwhile.”

...because, y’know, art.

Way to go from 0 to hyper-judgmental in 0.68 seconds.

The beautiful thing about this PA offering, is that you can apply it to damn near every secondary studio and title EA has acquired over the years... and it would feel just as accurate.

Once again “Penny Arcade” nails it!
