Almost as dull as an AV Club without community grades

Oh please, not Surya Bonaly Trutherism again. The backflip was banned in the late 1970's, long before she was on the scene, which didn’t stop her from doing a practice backflip inches from Midori Ito’s face(for which she was almost thrown out of the Olympics), “Accidentally” running into people in practice sessions

I found myself for the past 5 episodes feeling like Chrissy had this locked up and that the only thing that would sink her on it was her own smugness. I’m still convinced that she smugged her way out of a win with that jury.

I’m speechless... Not that Ben shouldn’t have won (he was a good player, despite his atrocious social game), but not like this... Chrissy was a better strategist and social player than him. The producers went full “Mike Holloway” making the other 4 look like the villains of the story.

Look, it’s Jason’s stick! Look, it’s Erik’s Immunity necklace! Look, it’s James’ two idols!

I mean, the producers have made it clear for several seasons that they consider trinkets and advantages to be more interesting than well-developed characters, but this is on the nose even for them.

So the information was an advantage but you can’t do the one thing that Tribal Council is meant for, in voting out a player? And that player happens to be the biggest threat to you winning a million bucks? Utter bullshit and no advantage at all. In my opinion, Chrissy won Survivor while Ben won the producer’s

I enjoyed this season at the beginning. I thought the cast had a very old-school vibe that was really refreshing. Despite her mistakes, Lauren is one of the most compelling castaways in recent memory. I thought Jessica, Desi, Joe, Ali, Roark, Devon, Ryan, and Chrissy were interesting, savvy players, and I think they’d

Soylent Green’s The Walking Dead Stray Observations: The Christmas Miracle Known as the Midseason Finale Special Edition

Yeah, it’s not like he’s made provocative gestures to nuclear powers or that he threatened a trade war with China or that he’s de-stabilizing The Middle East or that he’s undermining the current boom period by pushing for an unnecessary tax cut that will cajole The Fed into jacking up interest rates or...

Joke that I enjoyed way too much: The birdcall Bob White used belongs to a bird named the Bobwhite Quail.

At the very least I would hope they’d give it a half-season order to wrap things up.

Soylent Green’s The Walking Dead Stray Observations: If These Suck My Lawyer Wrote Them Edition

Sorry for the editing fiascos in that post above.

I liked the idea that John expressed, namely, that not everyone wants to live to the maxiumum of whatever potential he or she might have. Clearly he understands that the point of life is not to attain the highest office possible; rather, the point of life is to be content.

This is why Riker is my favourite character in

I’m really enjoying The Orville! Totally unexpected, but it’s great!

Yes, what kind of ridiculous society embraces blue-collarism and chides, insults and often out-right ignores intelligent behavior and points of view?

You, know if the Hand ninjas had communicated with Wile-E.-Coyote-style signs to exploit Daredevil's blindness during fights, I would have forgiven everything else in the season.

The menstruation humor, I think, could have been worse.
