That tower with the fire on top wasn't The Citadel; it was the Hightower.

I don't know about Septa Unella, but I'm pretty sure Septa Ulna had her elbow broken.

Too bad Richard Griffiths is no longer among the living; he would have been a fantastic Manderly.

The Red Woman isn't on Arya's list in the books (see A Wiki of Ice and Fire's entry on Arya). I recall that Arya was there (in the show) when Melisandre took Gendry, but did she actually put her on the list? Edited to add: thanks, HBO shop, for reminding me about this show-only plot point via your 'Arya Kill List'

That's hilarious and I love it, but it doesn't make *that* much sense to create a killing zombie from a 13-year-old boy. I mean, when you need a killing zombie, you make him from someone like Gregor. Not sure even a zombie Tommen could get the better of Cersei via a chokehold.

That wasn't from Maggy's prophecy; that was Tyrion to Cersei when he thought she had Shae whipped (but it turned out to be the brothel owner's daughter, the Summer Islander whose name escapes me).

What I missed about it the way it happens in the books is how Manderley so gleefully ate so much of it himself, and kept calling for appropriate songs (like The Rat King)…just the overall delight he took in the whole incident. And we didn't even get to see Lord Walder eat any of it!

Hey, Bran's in charge of all the weirwoods!

Sorry, I expressed that badly. I know that they were never married. Point was, they were betrothed, which is the step *before* marriage. In their case the marriage never happened, but they were *in the stage before the expected marriage." In that case we can assume (in most instances with regard to Westerosi

Fair enough. I've found it a great resource, and can usually whittle down the idea of what I'm looking for well enough to find it. Usually. I mean, I would have simply started with "born first" or "older twin" or something. I guess I didn't realize how hard it was to type on a Kindle (I use iPads).

Huh. I really don't remember this — I only remember Cersei putting Aurane Waters in charge of the Royal Navy (or whatever they call the ships that protect Kings Landing and the Blackwater). And that they had to call on the Redwyne Fleet for help. What book is this mentioned in?

Completely agree. Plus, many of the Second Sons harbored very deep feelings about returning home. Of course, the abbreviated nature of the tv show (as compared to the books) didn't let us get to know any of the Second Sons, or indeed, why they were even called that.

Yeah, the guy playing young Ned could have been Sean Bean's son — amazing casting!

I looked at that picture of Tywin that was linked, and honestly I didn't see any great resemblance there other than both wearing black. Tywin didn't have those very showy silver chains across his front like Cersei did, or her silver pauldrons, and imho those were the most notable things about Cersei's costume. YMMV.

What does Sansa being prettier have to do with this? I'm asserting Jon's resemblance to Lyanna as additional pebbles on the pile when people are learning that she's his mother. I think you're confusing how the actors look with what was said about their physical appearance in the books.

Ooh. That's pretty cool. And don't forget; the Reach still has the Queen of Thorns.

Either interpretation is pure speculation. But given the look that passed between Sansa and Littlefinger at that moment, I prefer mine.

Ha, I did not know that! And, given the level of crazy B5 fan that I am (I own the G'Kar chest prosthetic!), it's crazy I didn't know that.

Funny about that: the haunting choral bits accompanying the scene with the 'little birds' sounded SO much like part of the scoring ("Libera me") from1994's "Interview with the Vampire."

Disagree strongly on Babylon 5. There are skippable episodes, but you can't trash most of the first season like that. So much groundwork is being laid for the later seasons. In general, no episode with G'Kar and Londo should be skipped: those two completely own any scenes they are in.
