If I were Beyonce, I’d be very concerned that a bunch of deranged fans would commit or threaten to commit crimes in my name because of some misguided way of “defending” me.  What’s even creepier is that they were all SO CONFIDENT that they knew exactly what went down to the point they threatened an innocent person.

It’s just you.

This reminds me of yesterday, when a friend of mine was sitting at the ATX Televison conference on a panel about The Power of Female Partnerships and one of the fucking board advisors of the festival got up during the Q&A and thanked the men in the audience for coming. So great feminist panel I guess, where men are

I saw Rebecca Traister speak once, and during the Q&A a man told her he was sick of feeling like he couldn’t hit on women on the bus anymore. I saw Ta-nehisi Coates speak once, and a dumb white college kid told him he thought Kendrick Lamar was “the first political rapper.” (Okay, that one was funny.) They both

“Is that a no or a maybe?” he then asked. “We’ll see,” she said.

The problem with a moderator is that it takes away from the spontaneous nature of a Q&A, and people would have to submit questions in advance which eliminates questions that are linked to things that came up during the course of the discussion that preceded the Q&A.

Yes! And you don’t even need an app if that’s not something the event host/venue want to pursue — there are tons of other options to avoid this exact scenario. Just have people write their questions on cards they drop in a box to be sorted through by an off-stage staff member who will hand the best ones to the

The only issue I’ve seen with that - and this is mainly in a political setting - is the angry types who are then convinced their question was rejected because the speaker is afraid to answer the "tough"(read irrelevant or psychotic most of the time) questions.  Now you have an angry loon on your hands. But generally

A personal favorite is the “Hi my name is John and I don’t have a question, it’s more of a comment and...” followed by 3 minutes of self-referential drivel.

She already used that Get Out Of Ever Being Called Racist Cuz I Adopted A Black Kid Card in defending her use of the n-word in talking about her son. Madge is trash! All that time she was ‘pushing the envelope’ was just her being a disrespectful jerk who wanted respect.

And yes I’m allowed to use that analogy having been raped at the age of 19.

Oh, but there’s a lot of heavy metals hiding in a vaporizer. Nickel especially. But we’re going to have to wait for a lot of people to experience health problems and multiple class action lawsuits for proper research to happen.

The final episode had the clearest and easiest to follow explanation for what happened that I have ever heard and I have watched and read a lot about it over the years. That alone was incredibly useful television.

Well, you don’t think she has an original thought do you? Remember her speech she lifted off of Mrs. Obama?

Please say it was a gift plate from the Queen who then told Melania it was a hat just to see if she would actually wear it in public.

I’m pretty sure Meghan markle has worn that hat a couple of times.

I am sad to report irony and its siblings sarcasm and hyperbole have passed on, victims of a horrible, years-long gaslighting incident.

Is it irony that a Nazi apologist (‘on both sides’) is representing one of the countries that fought a war against & beat the Nazis at a commemoration of one of the great battles that took place during said war? Or is it just irony-adjacent?

I’m just so sick of these guys whining about how “attractive” people get more positive attention. No shit. Welcome to the world. That’s shouldn’t be a revelation to anyone. What baffles me is their inability to see attractiveness as a package deal. Yeah, good looks are going to get you more swipes on Tinder or

“Incels also argue that women get similarly invasive procedures regularly and aren’t criticized.”
