But... I know I'm being tracked all over the web, just don't be so in your face and remind me. That's all.

I replied to you but it was misdirected to Alan below :)
I think you missed my point entirely.
EDIT: this should have been directed at commenter Carrie Clancey.
Well, 148 gawker readers are safe at least!
Somebody may have said this already but this article provides a nice summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each for anyone new to the game and wondering which way to go. I go for credit cards personally. I have a debit card but I only use it for if I need cash and for a local utility company that charges…
This is a good idea. I could never find my lipstick or whatever when I kept my makeup in a pouch style bag. When my husband brought home a zippered lay-flat leather pouch he intended to keep his fishing hook things in I took ownership. It has double zippers so I don't need to fumble to open it. A quick sweep of the…
No, after some rereading I decided you were a 'for' rather than an 'against'.
You wouldn't believe the vitriolic comments I received over this post. So many people I don't, and will never know, telling me how classless they are.
I never said I followed that method, I initially tried to correct Phyrefly who was misunderstanding the post. I'm a generous tipper by and large because I was once in a position where I need every tip I could get and now I can afford to pay the girls who are doing the same job I used to do - pretty much like…
If you read carefully he's talking about doubling the bill including tax which yields more than 20% of the restaurant's cost. The restaurant collects tax on behald of the state - there's no obligation to tip on that portion of the check. It provides a good way to reward good service though by tipping that way and on…
Doubling the sales tax is a crappy tip. If you want to double something then double the final check (before tax*) and move the decimal one place. Round up to the nearest dollar for good service, round down for meh. You've just left a 20%ish tip which, if you're a frequent customer will get you continual good service.
sorry wrong post
What makes you so sure I've joined the group of matriculated people?
That was funny, I didn't realize it was you at first.
It won't. And like I said, the reason for words is to communicate accurately. If you're going to take a Tweedle Dee-ish position then you're going to have to accept that people will either not understand you some of the time or will constantly correct you after enquiring what it was you really meant.
Those folders aren't meant to be user written though.
How many sources did you have to trawl before you found an incorrect one that agreed with what you think?
If you use thin, runny icing then it will run into all the other colors like ink. I've made that mistake and have a photo somewhere. Horrible.
