Make sure your kiwis come from California if you're worried about pesticides etc., they have what must be the most stringent regulations about chemicals in the known world, also the skin on Calif. sourced kiwis is thinner and more palatable. I'm vegetarian so any nutrients in skins and peels are an important source

Slice it you idiot :) Chop off the ends and slice thinly.

Same with kiwi fruits, everyone I know peels them and it's so messy, eat the skins for heaven's sake and get the nutrients instead of throwing them away.

It's hormones.

No thanks, I've never had to put myself in a position where I need the approval of someone to join their club and I don't intend to start now. I realize Lifehacker is your site and you have the absolute say on what goes on there - I couldn't agree more with that position, but it's not me. I'm content to remain the

Hey there, I saw a page on Lifehacker a couple of days back where one could apply to post on Hackerspace; there were a couple of options such as 'full-fledged articles', 'tips like the old tips box' etc. I'll be darned if I can find that page again. I have a hack to get a vertical bookmark bar in Chrome and wanted to

I saw myself in there :)

Then I most humbly apologize. [emoticon: humility and/or contrition]*

Chrome on the Nexus 7 is as slow as watching a rice pudding evaporate but the Nexus 7 doesn't come with any other browser. Go to the Play store here and download the AOSP 'stock' android browser.

Knowing how Lifehacker help themselves to other peoples' stuff (with attribution of course) it was probably going to be little more than a link to this.

Thanks. For the first time in my life I'm scared.

Microsoft used to have a secret version of the WP7 software that sits on top of Android and takes over your phone to give you the entire Metro experience plus it runs Android apps. Facebook phone? Forget it - this thing got its tentacles deep into Android. I don't know why MS don't update this project to WP8, quit

It's not a matter of trust, it's a matter of security. If you share your password with just one more person then your exposure to it falling in to the wrong hands increases by 100%. If it's a password like your gmail which ties you into loads of stuff including all the OAuth stuff like Lifehacker it's just not worth

Yeah I got the same but the post wasn't actually about trying to game the system but about not having to share your email password with anyone else but still sharing the same music, like husband and wife for example. It's always a bad practice to give out passwords, even to your spouse. If you set up an account

One thing I failed to mention when I posted the Google music tip to Whitson was that when you add a secondary account Android asks which facets of that account, apps, contacts, etc. you want to sync. Uncheck them all obviously but you'll notice you don't get the option to uncheck for music, not that you want to,

This is like those strips of rubber auto owners used to fasten to their rear fenders for the same purpose. They didn't work either.

Maybe a hive five?

You don't really need an extension -

Yeah, this Shep guy never seems to research his stuff with any diligence. Seems like it's anything that makes a good headline gets in. Weekend after weekend he's called out by the readers. And every other post seems to begin with "this might seem kinda obvious but..." and most of his posts revolve around the word
