You may have thought you read my answer but you didn't comprehend. I can only answer what you wrote above by repeating what I said; which I'm not going to. In my experience I find when a person uses insults such as troglodytic and blatant ignorance that's usually because they think everyone has the same qualities they

Keep at it, you'll get the joke eventually, I promise.

I can't check this out because I don't have an iAnything but it looks remarkably similar to Google's Blockly https://code.google.com/p/blockly/ which runs as you might guess in a browser and is some fun to play with.

Now... are we talking mental or physical age?

Cell phone numbers are used in 2FA mainly because most devices can't deal with biometric data such as fingerprints. If such data was used then people such as yourself would be screaming that MS, Google could frame you at the scene of a crime if they had your fingerprints. I used to live in NYC and I know all about NJ's traffic circles; like the ones where traffic on the circles yields to traffic joining... whose brainy idea was that?!

I'm told by an ex-colleague at MS that the codes provided by Google Authenticator also work on Outlook. I'm unable to test this if anyone would like to confirm.

That won't always work because much of the site is dynamically generated so won't show by regular methods. Although it wouldn't have helped you in this case one thing you can do if you're trying to find a comment thread on LH you remember reading is to search your web history via google if you have it enabled. It's an extension; can't you just go in and edit the code?

You mean Lifehacker search doesn't work for you guys either?

NFC Retag lets you use hotel cards, price stickers etc. by performing a set task based on the card's read only id. If you have a bunch of these things lying around (like if you're forever buying shoes) then you may as well use these.

Stephen Baxter, sf author of all things over the top. He seems to have a new book out every time I visit the bookstore.

Next you'll be saying "if I can smear boiled-down cow hooves on my hair why can't I eat their stomach linings?

I think it's called mono-minimal or something. I'm away from that laptop for a couple of days, I'll get back later in the week.
