That's the one where Anatol Yusef will be Laertes, isn't it? I want to see that so badly! I doubt I'll be able to go, but I really hope you do! :)

I'm wondering the same thing. I've never been on the AV Club After Dark, but are people going to migrate there or somewhere else?

That's definitely the way to do it! I think I first watched Spaceballs when I was 9 or 10 and probably had seen it a good twenty times before I watched Star Wars as a college student.

I saw Spaceballs before I watched Star Wars. The people I first watched Star Wars with were not amused at how hard I laughed at various serious/important moments because I was finally picking up on what Spaceballs had had been making fun of.

I literally just realized that when I rewatched Spaceballs a couple of weeks ago.I was wondering why he looked so familiar then I felt like a complete idiot when I found out.

Pink Floyd before the infighting destroyed the band was my choice too.

I rewatched it a couple years ago and thought it held up well. Great art it ain't, but it's fun.

I know I'm probably being overly optimistic, but I have been gleefully counting down to his testimony. I wish I could watch it at work.

I haven't seen American Gods, so I can't speak in reference to that scene. But it does sound like what I have noticed as a trend in the male nudity that is on premium cable.

I rather enjoy some quality male nudity and am always a little confused when other women act like it's horrifying.

This is true but Jaime evens it all out.

That's true about balancing the politics and crime combination better. I found Nucky most interesting when he was the political mover rather than awkward crime boss. He still wasn't a character I liked, but it was at least something that held my interest because it isn't a character type you ordinarily spend much time

Yes, it's such a weirdly uneven show. I've watched it several times all the way through because I really do enjoy some of the characters, the actors are great, and it is gorgeous to look at, but it can be so frustrating at times. To me, it was a show composed of great individual moments more than an excellent big

In between, he'll find some time for poker, lecturing Charlie and Meyer on how to run a well-oiled criminal empire, and maybe convincing some poor sucker to choke to death on a billiard ball for his own amusement.

I've been rewatching Boardwalk Empire lately, and after every Rothstein scene, I feel bitter that the show wasn't actually about him and his adventures eating cake like a fucking child.

That's an impressive cast list, but the actor that made me actually want to see this was Stuhlbarg. If I saw that he was going to watch paint dry for 4 hours, I'd tune in.

Oh that is interesting! I'm north of Fayetteville in Carroll County. I know what you mean about the rural thing. I live out of town so when I tell people the town my address is for, it's not really an accurate description of where I live.

Just out of curiosity, where was your dad from in Arkansas? I ask because I've lived in the state most of my life, about an hour outside of Fayetteville. I don't see many folks on here mentioning an Arkansas connection.

Thank you! I'll check it out. I try to read all of IV's reviews, but I missed that one.

Damn that's a good one. IV's snark makes Ebert at his most savage look like a teddy bear.
