My Tritiron had a wicked fast refresh rate - less than 2ms of lag, which is 2x faster than the fastest OLEDs. It also had a far better contrast and better color pallette. Modern screens can’t hold up to it.

If you like Neverwhere you will probably like China Miéville’s “Un Lun Dun”, which has a similar theme of an alternative London and was inspired by Neverwhere, but tells a rather different story. (In case anyone missed Miéville)
