I was pleasantly surprised by the film. The story is a bit cluttered, but much better than your average direct to DVD scifi film. The acting is well done and the CGI isn’t horrible. This is a movie trying to punch above its budget and pulling it off to an admirable degree.

The animation was good. I can see how some would felt let down by the story. I went in with no expectations and found myself LOL often. After those disastrous Joel Schumacher films (he has apologized for them himself) Batman and camp isn’t what people expect.
