I grew up with guns too. I had free reign with a semi-automatic .22 at age 12. I love them. They are fun. They have also killed more people I know than anything else including car crashes, cancer, and heart disease. Those are split evenly between accidents, suicide, and violence.

Thing is, everyone who owns a gun swears they are an expert on gun safety. There is nothing to really check to see if they are. That is why we get toddlers shooting their parents and siblings. I have relatives that teach CHL classes that leave a pistol lying around with a 5YO. Some people get into this fetish mindset

Gun ownership is both a risk and benefit to society. The question becomes “How do we manage that risk?” We already have a mechanism for assigning value to risk: insurance. That is the only probable answer to the gun debate. Require gun owners to have insurance on their weapons. Let the free market work out the

That has very real unintended consequences. Most domestic disputes happen over money. Someone with a felony conviction is very likely to be limited to low wage jobs. That creates more domestic disputes. That doesn’t keep someone from getting a gun, but does exacerbate the conditions that they use one in an act of

That money can be fickel. I used to live outside of a military town. It was totally dependant on the military base and grew fat during the Cold War. During the Clinton years the base got significantly down sized. So did the town. Places that used to be full of middle class families became slums.

I had the SegaScope 3D as a kid. It was pretty cool. Space Harrier 3D was the best.

Kinja has never made sense to me. It killed these sites long before Hulk Hogan did.

I’ve never even heard of a Tide charger. Most Aukey stuff is pretty good. So is this if you don’t try to jam a USB cable into it backwards.

You have to be careful with those little Aukey auto power port (cigarette lighter) plugs. The two ports are not stacked one on top of the other, but reversed. If you pull the plug out of one, you have to turn it around to plug it into the other. If you try to shove the USB cord in the other way, it will blow a fuse. I

Standing water is the big bad, but you also get more of them from unmowed lawns. Mosquitoes are vulnerable to wind. If you have a place for them to hide in, you will get more of them.

No doubt. Especially the huge ones. No one wants to hear Kid Rock at full volume in a park at 9:00 AM.

One wonders if the selfish idiot made a copy first.

I think you had it at the first part of your post.

I agree with this. 3 GB is too low for a new card these days. I recently picked up an RX480 on sale for $180. Gaming looks gorgous even on my 1st gen i5. Games that support Vulkan (like Doom) are phenominal. Good to see AMD giving Intel and Nvidia reasons to up their game.

Ugh. Can’t stand script tattos. Anywhere. Still, it is your body and your cash. Boo on that guy for not doing his job.

Not really. They use YouTube’s bandwidth instead of their own.

Like any other job, there are bad CEOs and good CEOs. A good CEO will spend their time representing their company, finding new business, and keeping their employees happy. A bad CEO will see how much they can leech from a company before it has to buy them out with a golden parachute. Just because someone is an average

Sorry about your penis.

Well then. Matt and Trey would be foolish not to hire him for South Park.

My city is spending huge amounts of money to make our sidewalks ADA compliant. I’m glad they are. There are several assisted living facilities nearby and we have a lot of neighbors in wheel chairs.
