I never understood why the Death Star needed an exhaust port in the first place. What is it exhausting?

Until Nemesis showed up on Netflix, I had somehow completely forgotten that it existed. Wow...there was a Star Trek movie I knew nothing about. It wasn’t bad taken from that perspective. I enjoyed it, but it did just recycle a lot of themes. 

I’m just happy to get a third season. The first and second are so different as to be essentially different shows. No telling what the third will be.

They did. Apparently all three browsers are competing to see who can be the most annoying. Both Chrome and IE/Edge keep fighting over who is the default browser and Firefox has decided it wants to crash every 10 min. (might be related to a new video card and hardware acceleration).

They do this because they know how to configure IE through Group Policy and don’t want to mess with anything else.

I actually laughed when I saw it. It was definatly a reference to the Han shooting first controversy.

I remember threads here (and maybe Reddit) when Battlefront came out. Many people wanted Vader to lay waste to people in Rouge One (while it was still in development). Sure, he killed a whole tribe of Sand People, a Sandyhook full of Younglings, and conference room full of not-Japanese aliens, but he wasn’t bad enough…

It was like they took the character liknesses from Team Fortress Classic.

Maybe, but beside the point. If you go to a place with Bacon and Blowjobs advertised on the menu, you would be pretty ticked off if they didn’t make with the bacon.

There are tons of things around this movie that weren’t in the movie. In the trailers there is a part where she says “I rebel.” Not in the movie. My kid got an action figure that looks like an abominable snowman with two flame throwers. He is in the background for maybe two seconds. He isn’t even in focus, much less…

I have to say I’m okay with the way this was done. On first viewing, I couldn’t tell either were CGI. I wasn’t sure if they had been able to find someone who looked like them and used regular makeup. My first guess for Fisher was that it was her daughter.

I quit OA half way through to watch Travelers. It isn’t bad, but there are so many time travel shows on now it is hard to tell them apart.

As I understand it, the Confederacy and the Republic were in an arms race to see who could complete the first Death Star. Once Palpatine became Emporer, the Confederacy and the Republic both fell under him. So he had two.
