The Leftovers and Mr. Robot are some of the best TV I’ve ever seen. When season 2 of the The Leftovers came out I was taking care of my two young kids which has a certain hormonal effect in men (testosterone drops so you don’t decide to eat them). Just the credits would make me tear up.

Edit for those that don’t play Eve: A POS is a Player Owned Station, which is an object in the game. It has a big bubble around it like the picture. I did not mean to insinuate the the Hubble is a piece of shit. I love the Hubble.

I really hope that POS doesn’t run out of fuel. (Waves to Eve Online geeks).

I think it is a rule that every stoner must watch that move tonight.

Sploid is getting desperate.

This concept has been recycled on Reddit about 30 times that I can think of off hand.

I have a hard time paying attention to this series. Usually I have no idea what is going on or why I should care. The only time I pay attention is when Coulson is on screen. All of the other characters could die horriable deaths and I couldn’t give a shit.

So...coming soon to Syfi?

Those would be lights from a city that become visible as daylight crosses over the penumbra into darkness.

The Flaming Lips cover of Space Oddity from last night’s Colbert is a suitable musical replacement.

I agree completely. I’ve seen Super 8 about five times.

The ghost of The Dude abides.

You mean how a much smaller ship was able to fly in somehow and blow up a much larger ship? Red matter...the Force...whatever.

He even went outside the series. Finn and Poe escaping was totally ripped from when Will Smith and Jeff Goldblume escaped the mother ship in Independence Day.

No Leisure Suit Larry?

I think it was a good first season. She has to bust out some new powers though. No more taking out bad guys by staring at them intently. Melissa Benoist is great at staring at things, but come on...

Indigo seemed mostly a way to get Laura Vandervoort into the series. Same reason they made Helen Slater the mom. Getting former Supergirls on cast was brilliant.

I still say it was flawed, but still entertaining. Of course, you can always just watch the two cartoon movies that it is based on.

Hasn’t the term Damascus pretty much gone on to generally include just about any kinds of steel folded together and ground into a cool wavy pattern? I know you could say Wootz steel, but, unless you are digging that ore from the same pit in India, it isn’t going to have the same chemical structure. If you get too fine
