Same here. 2 and 4 YO. Early reading pays off. We can get an extra 30 min. of sleep on weekends because they will “read” books in the morning before busting out. They can’t read, but have the words memorized.

One of my earliest memories is learning how to read this book. I thought it was hilarious that the leaf on the last day meant he took a really big poop. It’s true. My motivation for learning to read were subtle poop jokes in children’s books.
