There was a set of figures Amazon was selling that included Rey, Finn, Capt. Phasma, Kylo Ren, Flame Trooper, and BB-8 for $22. It is total crap. Rey’s head fell off two hours after opening it. BB-8 then fell off the base, and Flame Troopers feet fell off.

I don’t know what is more distrubing: That people do this or that is must sometimes work. I remember there was a woman I was crushing on who ened up with a homeless guy she met in a Burger King drive through. May have dodged a bullet on that one.

Modern version: A card that says “U up?”

The other monument to electricity:

I solve this problem by living in Texas.

There are a couple of glaring points that the defense makes that point towards planted evidence. One is the key to the victim’s SUV. It was found in a highly suspicious manner in Avery’s bedroom. Another was the SUV itself found on Avery property. An officer is on tape calling in about it two days before it was found.

My 3YO loved the newer Voltron that is on Netflix. I’m sure he’ll dig this one if it isn’t too violent.

I love Grant’s name dropping. She really is Alec Baldwin’s character from 30 Rock made female. That said, I don’t find the submissive role Kara is playing to her all that believable. She is a grown woman. Why is she trying so hard to gain acceptance from such a flawed mother figure? Why does she care about her

This is one area I am completely useless on. Buying my first suit was a long barely concealed panic attack. At first I was offended when my wife started buying my clothes. I’m a grown man, damnit! Then the compliments started rolling in from the ladies at the office (don’t get the wrong idea, these are grandmothers

“Obviously, she should be in there instead of Finn.”

Ok, but only if it doesn’t slow down Colony.

I was lucky enough to see it on IMAX opening day. I got it on BluRay the day it came out as well. Which may have been the last time I was in a Best Buy. It still holds up well. I usually end up watching it once a year.

Yeah. Me too.

What they need is a video of girls in bikinis washing it.

Now playing

My wife tried to watch this movie three times and fell asleep each time (which happens if you are a nurse working 60 hr. weeks). She thought it was good enough to try for a forth and finally finished the movie. The boy and I were all meh. The only thing interesting was Lewis Black.

As a native Texan, I used to hold Blue Bell as a sacred institution. I’m sorry to say they are dead to me now. The company has sadly lost it’s way. Having the option to get either, I now go with the HEB brand. They knew about this for a long time.

Didn’t the cyber punk novel Altered Carbon do something similar? Make a digital copy of a person and torture it digitally?

What? You didn’t?

Don’t you think?

Huh. I did not know that.
