Watched 4 episodes of JJ last night. Watching episode 1 of tMitHC right now.
Starship Troopers really holds up over the years. And I’m not just saying that because of my Denise Richards fixation.
She was good in Johnny Mnemonic too.
Yeah. It’s stupid. I tried to scare my cat with one of those rubber snakes and she was all “Bitch, please. Go away so I can scare the hell out of that big ass dog we adopted.” The joke was on me when the wind blew the door open one afternoon and she left a live 3 ft. Garter snake in the bathroom. Which was deposited…
I would have watched that movie. I watch Supergirl. Mostly to see how Calista Flockhart defies ageing. She still looks fresh off the set of Ally McBeal. On that show, the character they called The Bisquet was also the star of the movie Dragon Slayer. My brain is a junk drawer of useless information.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed from a a movie like The Phantom Menace. At least with AotC I didn’t have any expectations.
There was no reason, besides money, to make The Hobbit into three films to begin with. I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy them, but it could have been kept to one movie. Also, the CGI in some scenes is just ridiculous. The barrel river ride? Embarrassing.
I wish him the best, but I still have my doubts. Efforts to bring Vonnegut to film have traditionaly been found lacking. Maybe I’m just being protective of one of my favorite authors and one of my favorite books. I’ve had to drastically downsize my library of phyiscal books (two kids and limited living space will do…
I liked Ant Man. It wasn’t Avengers quality, but still a decent flick. I like that I can let my kids watch it. Ant Man doesn’t kill anyone. No one dies in the movie. The Avengers and GotG has a very high death count. Groot impales like 20 guys and it is kinda funny. The boy is macabre enough for a 4YO as it is.
In a coffee cup? #NoOneRemembersThatShow
I’m glad they gave her character more depth. In the the previous episodes she was brutally one dimensional. Like a caricature of Alec Baldwin playing a caricature on 30 Rock.
Sigh. Helen Slater was the mom? I guess The Legend of Billie Jean is a bit dated. I’m old.
You say that as if it is a bad thing.
Denzel Washington assures me you can do this on cocaine.
Very losely based on. And failed to mention the pedophilia.
Leatherface was a composit charater, but Gein was the main influance.
That is a shame. Minority Report is a decent show.
No prob. Nice Clive Barker reference.
