Thank you for taking the time to share all of that information. Of course I have and will continue to make diet changes with the hope that it may prevent a recurrence, but I'm not willing to make drastic changes. But damn, here in the US, they do make it difficult to consume blatantly safe animal products.

Antibiotics aside, how are hormones used with dairy and non-dairy cows? I haven't done extensive research yet, but I think my best bet is to only eat certified organic dairy and meat because I'm very afraid of ingesting any estrogen or estrogen derivative due to my hormone positive cancer.

Thank you! Surgery and chemo are behind me, I've just got radiation and 10 years (!) of anti-hormone treatment ahead of me (which, funny enough, carries the (albeit low) risk of uterine cancer).

Yes, thank you! As someone currently undergoing BC treatment, this headline almost triggered a panic attack.

I do wonder if my hormone positive breast cancer has a connection to the many years of BCP I was on for PCOS treatment. Apparently, hormones and me don't get along.
