I can attest that LA has no end or great Mexican places, although many don’t have alcohol. However I go to Taco Bell for Taco Bell food, not Mexican food.

Langer’s here in LA has their famous #19. Pastrami, coleslaw, Russian dressing, and nippy cheese on rye (not grilled).
