Under $2K and it runs? Automatic NP.

High-strung engines like this have tighter tolerances, and are thus harder to turn over when cold. They’re designed to work optimally at normal operating temperature, while your typical car is more of a compromise.

I doubt that anybody is unaware that older cars were designed to meet a lesser impact standard. That’s the whole point - here’s why car designed over a quarter century ago that’s still being produced probably shouldn’t be.

NP!!! Sub $1k to start.. and you know he’ll knock another 2-hun 3-hundo off since it’s been sitting for a dozen years and he can’t fix it. This is screw it, why not money. Plus the paint job is cool

Have you seen the paint job?

I’d suggest a Cadillac ELR. It’s definitely offbeat and rare, great for commuting and good for road trips. Virtually new ones are under 30 and the interior is nicer than the Volt.

People may think you are driving a Malibu, but you will know better.

Think I found it in Manhattan with NJ Plates. 2nd street between 1st ave and ave A. 8319179467 is my cell. I took these photos at 9:22 PM.

Kind of classless to leave the scene as a witness with video, ridiculous. Not to mention him finding the horn about 10 seconds to late. Too bad he doesn’t have a CB radio.

As soon as there is an electric car on the market that can do 500 mi per charge, carry 5 people plus cargo comfortably, and cost under $35k then it will be clear that electric cars will be the standard from there on out. It make take 15 years, it may take longer, but that car will be the funeral toll of the oil

Pretty sure swapping an oil type filter for a dry filter is easier than an engine or turbo rebuild, I think best and worst cases might be reversed ;)

That’s what I’m sayin’. Would have been more tempting as stock.

Crack pipe. I’m still an owner of a 07 Spec B (had it since new in August ‘06). It’s got 130k on the clock with a 2 yr old engine and anything that broke I replaced it with an upgraded part. Even with all that, there’s no way the car should be worth that much. I’d give it $12k at most if the paint job was in impecable

I love me some spec B, but I’m not paying 17 grand for a non stock example with nearly 100k on the clock, especially with the impending maintenance that needs to be done to virtually any post 100k mile Subaru. Pass the pipe.

Not an asshole. Coolest dude on YouTube. Everything is done tongue in cheek and down in the doobily-do

Anytime you’re copying Subaru’s styling, it’s going to be ugly. This looks like some designer traced all of the WRX’s styling elements to the new Civic, then spent the rest of the day watching porn on his phone in the bathroom.

The M Coupe is a fantastic choice, if one can be found, and the maintenance budget allows for it.

All of the dealers eligible for the offer sold fewer than 50 new Cadillacs to retail customers in 2015. They represent 43 percent of the brand’s 925 U.S. dealerships but only about 9 percent of its sales last year.

Craaaack piiiiipe!

I used to work at McLaren engines where this was built so I’ve seen this vehicle up close and know the guys that built it. This is definitely a relic of the F&F era which doesn’t do it any favors looks wise. However the work done on it is top notch. These guys were building all the Ford Racing vehicles as well as all
