Thank you! Feels like the stress of the last year is fading slightly! A great relief for sure. I’m so thankful!

P.O.T.S. maybe? I’ve finally made an appointment with a cardiologist to see if we can figure out my fainting/blacking out upon standing issues I've had for 20+ years at this point. Hope you figure yours out eventually!
I was able to get vaccination appointments for my age 65+ parents for Wednesday and I'm so excited for them! Just had to share. Hope everyone's doing well out there!
I hope someone else will cover the BA story.
The website My Colombian Recipes has a delicious and easy empanada dough recipe. I used it successfully this Christmas. I’ve made empanadas before from my mom’s 1970s Pan American Women’s Society cookbook and the website’s recipe is much easier.
To this day I get “Impossible/It’s Possible” stuck in my head every time I think of Cinderella. “Impossible... for a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage.." As a seventh grader this movie was so magical to me. Need to rewatch!
My boss at a bakery was "an ex cop" and always forgot his loaded gun in the bathroom. What a dipshit.
Loved your winning story, especially the ending.
I’m sorry you’ve experienced the failures of the justice system first hand as well. It’s scary knowing we are right and these people are dangerous. It’s taken me a really long time to realize that the justice system can’t help me with this person.
During a court hearing for domestic abuse my abuser was allowed to sit right behind me and I was made to stand a foot away from him when we faced the judge. I was literally shaking the whole time. The judge asked me “well what do you think we should do about this case?” and I was so afraid I said “I think he needs…
My dad often brought up not ever wanting kids. Told me my mom convinced him, but he never, ever wanted us, period.
Reminds me of being told to shut up while I was being beaten by my dad as a kid. I was told it would be my fault if my dad got arrested for abuse. Once a neighbor or someone called the Department of Children and Families but my parents just denied everything and I got in huge trouble for letting someone find out. It's…
Jesus, this is epic. *bows*
Could’ve used your help as a new mom. This story makes me cheer!
I once had a friend with a BART ticket duplication scam, so we rode free. We got asked for a ticket only one time (and obviously couldn’t show the duplicated ticket or we’d be in big trouble) so I searched my bag for a ticket then played dumb tourist and apologized profusely for losing it. Also said I lost my ID and…
A few years ago I finally lost my shit after a phone call with my husband’s abusive ex-wife and texted her a diatribe that included the words “You ruin everything.” She was obviously furious. She hasn’t spoken to me since, cut our time with our kids down to 4 days a month (from 2 weeks a month), talks shit on me…
Once in once in a fight with my teen brother, I provoked him to the point of almost hitting me with a hot frying pan. Luckily he thought the better of it right before it hit my face. I could hear it sizzling an inch away from my ear as he paused mid air. Fight ended immediately as we both realized this was “Too Far”.
I read that Tanya left That 70's Show to care for her husband, which makes me wonder if he suffers from a form of dementia or something that might have contributed to this misunderstanding.
Just over here wishing the “pig’s head” was mitch’s head.
Omg that's awesome!
