It was amazing for its single player, due to the ability to solve the missions in so many wild ways. It's also heralded for its split screen multiplayer. Personally, I never gave a fuck about it.

I love the hell out of Dragon Warrior 2, so much so that I have it in NES, SNES, and Gameboy Color. It's the most repetitive shit I've ever played, but it captures a good feel.
