What a great interview

My biggest surprise today was finding out the folks behind Deadspin are starting up their own site called Defector. They’re going with a subscription-based scheme that they own. A year is $69 and comments come with a higher tier at $99.

Tad Cooper!

Slippin’ Kimmy.

He does everyone’s taxes.

I had the same problem with a different movie when I realized it wasn’t all that hard to get to White Castle.

These kind of fake documentaries, or documentaries that mock the idea of documentaries themselves—I don’t know if there’s a better term for this—”

Me, after reading seven paragraphs full of one excoriating pull-quote after another:

Wait... there’s a guy on the AV Club who dresses as a pirate?

This was just inevitable, really.

AV Club: Kinja was pretty disappointing.

This is one hell of a hot take. They’re an incredible live band. Only time I’ve been disappointed in the 6 shows I’ve seen was at Outside Lands, when they played to a daytime crowd that didn’t know them and the sound was awful. They are generally fire live.

But, experiences are subjective, so to each their own.

Thank you so much for using the Kent Brockman “Where’s MY elephant” picture.

The best response I head to that speech was my friend who turned to me after he says that and said to me “But who is this guy again?l

It was only a matter of time. You can’t see Gunn do the first movie without expecting him to pop back up in the third.

So after all of this, we’re getting two James Gunn comic book movies?

“Hello, this is Moleman in the Morning. Good Moleman to you.”

I need the biggest article on Hans Moleman you have.

No, that’s too big.
