While this may not seem like a big concern, it could actually be quite dangerous”

A lot of that has to do with the fact that the red states are not reporting the majority of their positive cases to keep their numbers down.

May Jesus Christ himself bless you for sharing this

You do realize that there never was a working polio vaccine until there was? There never was a working influenza vaccine until there was.  That’s kinda how inventions work.  They don’t exist until they do.

South Korea started widespread testing on basically day one. That’s the difference. If you know who can spread the virus and have them locked down, you don’t need a lock-down. Lock-downs only happened here because our government dropped the ball MASSIVELY from the get-go.

Because South Korea went to huge lengths to track and test every single person in their country. If you don’t do that then you need to assume everyone is infected.

You know that modern cars pass this test without severe injury to their passengers and not rolling over too right?

That energy has to go somewhere. Better to push the vehicle up and on the side than into the passenger compartment.

But combined with the fact that Wranglers don’t have curtain airbags means more risk of head injury.

I think it was the ‘80's when the idea of what a kitchen should look like took a turn. I remember a wealthy friend doing a massive renovation which included a huge kitchen in all white and stainless steel. We had never seen anything like it before. My spouse quipped that it looked like an operating theatre - and it

So, just to be clear here, is she only okay with killing Grandmas? Because my State Rep was a young, healthy person in his 40's and died from COVID after catching it in the early days. And a five year old girl in our city died because her parents are both first responders, and just for an extra bit of awfulness, she

Anyone who says they need a Jeep Rubicon to go rock crawling isn’t trying hard enough.

I read somewhere a good shower though: The Economy is collapsing because people are only buying what the really need to live.

...Also, make a damn will if you don’t want your spouse to get everything.

My father-in-law died of coronavirus last week. You may remember from a few weeks back that my mother-in-law was basically horrible to him throughout the months leading up to his illness and after he was hospitalized. She’d been putting assets in her own name and doing shady stuff with the family business for months.

Finished reading and sort of instinctively scrolled down to leave a comment, but I’m not sure why. I can’t think of much to say.

I mean, they *did* go with Abrams, or at least that was the state’s intent. Kemp used his previous job as Georgia’s Secretary of State to do super shady stuff in the homestretch before the election to do things like shut down polling stations in urban and minority neighborhoods and, like you said, purge the voter

Which in turn makes it more of psychological horror than Shyamalan's film, and therefore, scarier and more poignant.

The one thing that bugs me what the "Sixth Sense"/"The Others" comparison, is that Shyamalan's film, even though structured around the twist, has no point for it. It's just a twist. There is no progression and thematic resonance for that twist, even if you have a montage explaining how it was that all along and you
