Our place was built in 1915. We have plenty of wall space, but the art is currently in storage as I’m terrified of putting holes in horsehair plaster.

My father-in-law owns a small business. In one month he submitted $75K in “expenses” that his COO and accountant were figuratively slamming their heads on the desk over. I think that may have included the lease payment on my mother-in-law’s Bentley.
Oh but they do. Per the New York Times:
Yet in their coverage this morning NPR seemed to consciously avoid covering Hamilton and his unhinged tweets this weekend. Part of me was cheering, but the other part was thinking why don’t they bring an expert on to talk about what drives someone to be so petty when they’re the president-elect?
Thank you. The comments on there are terrible. I posted in reply to the first comment, which was gross.
He doesn’t pay his taxes. Why should we pay more so he and his family can be comfortable? He’s a public servant now and needs to act like one.
I’m thinking of chartering a small bus to get back and forth on 1/21. If you’re heading to D.C. from Boston let me know!
I think his transition team forgot about it too. Why else would they announce this victory/thank you tour the day before his lawyers ask Curiel to delay the trial because he’s “too busy”? I hope the judge uses it to deny their request.
Don’t forget his lawyers in the Trump University case are set to argue tomorrow how he doesn’t have time for depositions before his inauguration. I hope Curiel brings up this “victory tour” when he hands down his decision.
“We dipshits out here also provide your food, and fuel.”
She is. She’s addicted to pills, and displays all the signs of Munchausen Syndrome and narcissistic personality disorder. The worst part is my husband thinks she forced his doctors to perform an unnecessary knee surgery on him when he was a kid. I’ve never said the words “Munchausen by proxy” to him, but I’ve been…
Acting like a “petulant child,” really? Would you tell that to the civil rights protestors in the south during the 50s and 60s?
You can’t just assume that. I liked Bernie, but when HRC got the nomination, I donated, phone banked and voted early. Hell I even carved her logo into a pumpkin for Halloween because my condo association doesn’t allow yard signs. I had never done any of those things before.
How do you propose we address education, healthcare and job re-training with a Trump White House and GOP Senate and House? Aren’t those the very things HRC was running on? Middle class people who would have benefitted didn’t seem to care that she was trying to help.
But where do you draw the line? My mother-in-law voted for Trump. She is a terrible human being who has manipulated her entire family to catering to her every need. There are many terrible things she has done to my husband. Last night he said we were cutting her off and I was relieved.
I provided anecdotal evidence and data. If you read the article I linked to you’ll see:
Just a theory, but I think the Democrats that are still in power have decided to lure Trump by saying they’ll work with them to enact the populist ideas that he spouted during the campaign. The Republican establishment will hate that, and they’ll end up warring with Trump and his supporters. And maybe the ensuing…
I think we need to do away with this myth that Trump voters are economically disadvantaged. My father-in-law has a net worth of around $6 million. My mother-in-law, who hasn’t worked in 20 years and sits at home watching Fox News and HGTV, voted for Trump. I don’t know who my father-in-law voted for, but he probably…
Every statistic confirms what’s self-evident, including the fact that there are few degrees of separation between you and a white nationalist.
I cannot stand by. I was bullied throughout elementary and high school, and assaulted in college. This election was like reliving that all over again.
