Yup. Eliza Dushku lives around the corner from me. We met her at the middle school field that doubles as an unofficial dog park in the evening. The only thing I thought was that she was wearing a lot of makeup for someone at the dog park and that I wanted to order the awesome toy she brought for her italian greyhound.

“In light of the above, I would like to submit a compromise. Goldsmith also composed the score to Gremlins”

Not necessarily. Like BurnThisAccount45 said it could be the owner and not the dog.

I thought the same until I needed a 20s style outfit for a party.

But what if I want to use my education and have a spotless home?

That's so pretty!

Yeah. I think we will hire a stager if only to hang the art currently in storage. Our agent told us the companies he hires have it in their contracts that they have to patch and paint over any holes they put in the walls.

But what if you’re OCD about cleaning/organizing and have some (perceived) talent decorating your own place?

My mom moved to L.A. in the late 70s to try her hand at being an actress. She had a boyfriend in the early 80s that knew Berton and she got to meet Sharona. She was not impressed.

Don’t give up! I’m also an only child, but now have four children that call me “aunt.” Nieces and nephews-in-law are a thing.

You might feel a tiny bit better if you consider that much of this story has to do with their public actions: a song that was publicly released (Kanye), a Grammy speech on national television (Taylor), and an article in GQ (Kim).

I love your username. Also when I indulge in celebrity gossip I like to think of myself as a scholar of modern history. Just wait 20 years and some grad student will write a paper about this.

Yup. I looked it up afterwards, but I was pretty sure during the movie that it was The Castle because when they cut to a shot that looks down the street you can see the Hillel house in the background. I’d recognize that bland tan stone anywhere.

Feig seems to have a thing for Boston though, so I can see why he downplayed the New York location.

It was filmed in Boston, so I think they kind of had to downplay the location.

Girl chiming in here. I loved it, but I also feel like they could have incorporated more of Leslie Jones’ character’s knowledge of New York history into the plot. So the story seemed a little thin for me too, but that could just be the history nerd in me talking.

The only one they were missing was Rick Moranis. I get his reasoning, but it still would have been awesome to have had him in it.

I went to see it yesterday with Mr. Jnorman. That meant not getting the entire house cleaned and putting off grocery shopping until after work tonight. And I don’t have kids.

Late to the party on this one, but I remember seeing this photo and thinking that Taylor Swift seemed like a mean best friend. Like the one whose always being nice to your face, but tries to outshine you every chance she gets—even at your wedding...
